Now available in Purple! We sell a lot of cameraphones here, and for one to literally take our breath away is virtually impossible. Well, the LG Viewty, with awesome 5 megapixel camera, very nearly made us pass out in excitement! Could this be the ultimate cameraphone? It very well could be!!

Every now and then, we see a phone that we just can't believe. Literally, it takes our breath away. And to be perfectly frank, the LG Viewty is amongst the most awesome mobile phones we've ever tried out!

Absolutely Viewtiful

So, first of all: why did LG name it Viewty? Well, after checking in the urban dictionary, which is where LG found the name, we found this:

Viewtiful: Something flashy or stylish. Someone with superpowers.

Well, both of those summarise the LG Viewty rather perfectly, actually! It's built around the same Flash user interface as the Prada, with a huge touchscreen, meaning that it's an absolute joy to use. Oh, and on a side note, the animated wallpaper with the goldfish in a pond, that follows your finger about, is, it's possible, the single greatest thing we've ever seen!

Ultimate Camera

Hmmm, no, we've changed our minds on that. That honour goes to the camera on the LG Viewty! Coming in at a substantial 5 megapixels, it will give you crisp, beautiful photos. However, it's not enough to give the LG Viewty 5 megapixels, LG have also packed it full of features that are quite honestly stunning. In the Viewty, you'll find the latest Schneider-Kreuznach lenses, image stabiliser (you just can't beat anti-shake for superb pictures), ISO8000 Smartlight (for super sharp night shots) and coolest of all, manual focus. Want to focus on one particular thing? Just prod that bit of it on the LG Viewty's screen, and it focuses in on your friend, or pet, or whatever. That's not just novel, that's fantastically useful, too!

The other thing that'll knock your socks off with the LG Viewty is its frighteningly high quality video. Not only that, but you can slip it into 120 frames-per-second mode, and actually capture slow-motion action shots, just like John Woo. After that, you can edit shots in sequence, to produce your own blockbuster. Oh, and once you've done that, just press one button and you can instantly upload the whole masterpiece onto Youtube. That's just incredible! Now throw in loads more cool stuff, such as Google Maps, and loads of media options, and the LG Viewty becomes one serious contender for greatest phone ever. You may have guessed our thoughts about it, but we'll make it absolutely clear. The LG Viewty is really quite perfect in every possible way!
