Sony Ericsson has continued its attempts to win over consumers looking for a solid cameraphone with its latest Cyber-shot model, a new review claims.
In an article for the Trusted Reviews website, Sandra Vogel states that although not as sophisticated as the C902, the Sony Ericsson C702 is another camera-centric handset that boasts a range of features.
In addition to its 3.2-megapixel sensor, the C702 has quad-band GSM, HSDPA connectivity, Memory Stick Micro support, geotagging and a 2.2-inch, 240 x 320 pixel screen.
"Sony Ericsson's C702 Cyber-shot is a reasonable choice if you can't afford the company's C902," the site concludes, but adds that the level of competition in the market could mean the handset will have difficulty establishing itself.
Earlier this month, it was reported that a new version the C902 handset would be launched that would also feature in the latest James Bond movie.
T3 reported the Sony Ericsson Titanium Silver C902 will feature alongside Daniel Craig in the spy's latest big screen adventure, Quantum of Solace.
