A new smartphone could be heading to the market which makes the most of Sony Ericsson's latest technology, it has been suggested.
Mobile Whack reports leaked images have appeared online revealing the manufacturer's latest entry into its Xperia range of mobile phones.
The site states the Sony Ericsson Xperia X5 will follow the X1, although this particular handset is currently not yet available.
Despite this Pocket-lint adds that it is thought the X5 will follow the September launch of the X1 and that the new model will come equipped with an eight-megapixel camera with autofocus and flash.
Also included could be an 8GB internal hard drive, as well as Wi-Fi, HSDPA and GPS connectivity and a 3.2-inch touchscreen display.
Sony Ericsson claim the Xperia X1 will allow users to "enjoy the convergence of communication and entertainment" and that the handset's hidden qwerty keyboard "makes writing quick and easy".
