A new handset has been launched as part of Vodafone's own-branded range of mobile phones.
T3 reports this week that the new Vodafone VF830 is available now to pay as you go customers and combines stylish design with a host of features that defy its status as a budget model.
In addition to a 3.2-megapixel camera, the sliding VF830 handset is equipped with a media player that has mp3 support and a 2.4-inch screen.
"Couple the latter with the VF830's HSDPA connectivity and you're good for accessing the likes of Google Maps, YouTube, Facebook, general web browsing and checking your emails," the article adds.
It is expected that shoppers will see an £80 price tag on the phone and the site adds that the model comes in only one colour - although it does state that this is a "rather sleek black".
Engadget also said this week that the VF830 was unusually high-specification for a Vodafone-branded handset.
